It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Justin James Grasby on April 4, 2026.
Justin was born on January 5, 2002, to Dana and Kelly Grasby in Saskatoon.
Justin leaves to mourn his mother, Dana; his sister, Brookelyn (Logan); and his grandmother, Stephanie Eide. He will also be deeply missed by Eric (Kim) Eide and their children Kohl, Evan (Lexi), and Taytem; Kim (Kristan) Johnson Cohen and Ava; Kerri (Matt) Haughian Irelynd (Tyson), Braylyn, Willem, Blake, and Qwyn; Kyle (Stephani) Eide Carter, Emmery, Khloe, and Kaylee; and Darla Grasby and her children Kiera and Aubrie.
Justin will also be greatly missed by his partner, Sierra Juell and best friends, Clint Dejarlais and Noah Ruhland, along with numerous special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Kelly James Grasby; his grandfather, Jeffrey Lowell Eide; and his cousin, Connor Rylan Eide.
Justin was raised on an acreage north of Asquith and attended Lord Asquith School, graduating in 2020. From a young age, he was always on the move-full of energy and curiosity. He rode his first mini quad at the age of three, and from then on, his story was written.
Whether it was taekwondo, parkour, or school sports, Justin gave everything he had and made it look effortless. He spent time on the ball diamond with the Delisle Diamond Dogs, before discovering the passion that truly lit him up-racing dirt bikes. At the Ottopaso MX track and tracks across the province, Justin wasn't just riding-he was doing what he loved most.
Justin was never afraid of hard work. At Murjack Farms, he built the foundation of the skills he carried with him-operating equipment, hauling grain, and always lending a hand wherever it was needed. That drive led him to get his license and hit the road working for Raspberry Creek Ranch hauling grain with 4D Transport across the province. He later worked with Kustaski Trucking in Watrous hauling gravel, and eventually found where he truly belonged with Arnold Earthmoving, hauling heavy equipment. That's where Justin felt at home-doing what he loved, with people he respected, and always ready for the next challenge.
He had a natural gift behind the wheel and in the operator's seat that couldn't be taught. Whether it was four wheels, two or one, Justin handled it all with confidence and skill. People admired him not just for what he could do, but for how he did it-with determination and pride.
Justin was full of life-truly one of a kind. He had a way of making people laugh, of turning ordinary moments into something unforgettable, and of bringing light wherever he went. His smile, his energy, and his big heart will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He will be deeply missed beyond words, but never forgotten. Justin's memory will live on in the stories we share, the memories we hold close, and the love that will always remain in our hearts.
We will love you always and forever, Justin.
