Kathleen "Kathy" E. Slobodzian

Kathy Slobodzian (nee: Cox) was born on a farm outside of Neepawa, MB. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Dorothy Cox; brother, Alfred "Alfie" Cox; first husband, Dale Millar; second husband, Dr. Mike Slobodzian; and her son, Darwin Millar. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Tracy; and the Slobodzian children and their families.

Kathy last resided at Parkville Manor, and at the age of 89, she passed peacefully at RUH on her own terms. During those 89 years, Kathy's interests, loves and hobbies included but were not limited to gardening, golfing, knitting and sewing, painting, playing bridge, and spending time with her children, Darwin and Tracy. She also had a love of animals, loved her dogs Siefert, George, and Harry.

Kathy, a.k.a. Bird, will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. At Kathy's request, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Kathy's honor to the charity of your choice.
