We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather Keith Ostrander in Saskatoon at RUH.
Dad was born to Lillian and Pember in Broadview Saskatchewan. Throughout his childhood, the family made moves to Kamsack and the Battlefords. During his teenage years Keith became a proud Notre Dame Hound playing hockey for Athol Murray.
In adulthood he moved to Regina where he met and fell madly in love with Emma (nee Wilkins) at Bowman Brothers. They were married in 1950. Keith and Emmy moved to Saskatoon where they raised their three boys who brought them so much joy.
Keith loved his family, his friends, lake time, hockey, curling, dancing, good fun and a great chat over a cup of coffee.
Keith was predeceased by Emmy in 1993.
He is survived by his three sons, Bob (Florida), Jim and Judy(Saskatoon) and Brian and Roseanne(Calgary) as well as his beloved grandchildren, Jonathan (Drea), Jenna (Tyler), Matthew (Elisha) (Calgary), Robyn (Campbell)(Cranbrook), Thomas and Tyler (Calgary), as well as his great grandchildren; Pearl, Mabel, Mogens, Bowen, Emelyn, Peyton and Madelyn.
The family wishes to thank Clarice Sutherland, Keith’s caring best friend and partner in fun; such as golfing and dancing, for the last many, many years. The love, support, and caring of Clarice and her family was significant in keeping Dad happy, healthy and living independently. We are forever grateful.
Dad will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
At his request there will be no formal funeral service.
Arrangements entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home, 306-244-5577.
