Kenneth Wayne Shaw passed away peacefully with family by his side, Sandy, Chommany, Asia and Yong at the Parkridge Centre, Saskatoon on June 18 at 9;03 pm at the age of 80 years..Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Angela Shaw and survived by his sister, Myrna and his daughter Lori, grandchildren, Robert, and Steven and his great grandchildren, Cham and Olivia. He is also survived by his estranged second wife, Yong Southichak & her children Sandy, Chommany and Khounthavy, and granddaughter Asia . Kenneth was born on 5 December 1944 in Eston Saskatchewan. He began working at a meat packing company for his father at a young age. Due to his incredible work ethic & natural leadership qualities, he became the youngest foreman at Intercontinental meatpackers. He went onto co-create & co-own a business called Chef Redi meats, where he was also responsible for overseeing operations. He completed his working career by working in support of Prairie Meats and providing advice as an efficiency expert. Kenneth thoroughly enjoyed the company of family & friends while also enjoying fine food and drink. He also enjoyed visiting Radium Hot Springs, golfing with friends & owning many drivers to choose from for that Hail Mary golf shot, followed by saying "I'd rather be lucky than good". One of his extreme passions was shopping for, purchasing & driving beautiful cars.Kenneth leaves behind enduring lessons learned, impactful teachings, and boundless wisdom in many arenas of life. His zest for life, unbridled approach to life, and the love of cars will be etched in many memories for all of time.
