Recording of the service for Kevin Bowie
It is with profound sadness that the family of Kevin C. Bowie announce his passing Monday April 4th 2022 at the age of 56.
Kevin is survived by his wife Lee Ann and children Samantha and Nickelette and grand daughter Aria as well as his mother Frances Campbell, father Donald Bowie (Carol) and his siblings Barbara Bowie and Ian Bowie as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Kevin was well known as a motorcycle enthusiast riding for over 40 years without an accident. His commitment to safety had him teaching a motorcycle safety course for many years and he personally improved the riding habits of anyone he rode with.
A long haul trucker for most of his career travelling all over the USA and Canada, Kevin finished his career as a Cement Truck Driver and Pump Truck Operator for Burnco in Saskatoon.
Kevin was well loved in the community for his sharp sense of humour and kindness toward others in need. Often Kevin would help someone in a time of crisis and never tell a soul about it. This care for others was the impetus for his efforts Bringing Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) to Canada and being a founding member and President of the first Canadian Charter in Saskatoon.
A Memorial Service Celebrating Kevin's life will be Held at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Wednesday May the 4th 2022 at 2 pm.
The service will be indoors but also live streamed for the safety of those who wish to attend and remain in their vehicles in the parking lot. The service will end with a motorcycle ride.
