Lawrence "Larry" Bell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Bell at the age of 58 after a 2 year battle with cancer.

Larry was born and raised in Saskatoon. He was predeceased by his father James (1994), his sister Lynda Currie (2000) and his mother Helen (2003). Larry is survived by his sister Wendy Barnsley, his nieces Jordan (great nephew Clark) & Sarah Barnsley, along with many other relatives. Also left to mourn are his close and beloved friends MJ, Mark, Terri and Brenda. They will all miss him dearly.

Larry had a unique and special spirit which was clearly reflected in the hobbies he dedicated his life to. He enjoyed horror movies and memorabilia, fixing and rebuilding old computers and listening to heavy metal. He was a DJ for several years at a community radio station and had a record label called Sinister Sounds. Larry also had a love of tattoos (before they were cool).

The family would like to thank SPH Palliative Care Unit and the staff at Glengarda Hospice, where Larry spent his final days, for their wonderful and compassionate care. At Larry's request there will be no funeral service. A private gathering with close friends and family will be held at a later date.
