It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Lien Quang, who passed away on August 4, 2026, in her hometown of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, at the age of 71.
Born in Vietnam, Lien grew up during a time of great change and uncertainty. As a young woman, she dreamed of studying medicine, but the Vietnam War altered the course of her life. In search of safety and a brighter future, she courageously fled Vietnam by boat, eventually making Canada her home.

She dedicated many years to public health care, where her kindness and commitment positively impacted countless lives. She also found great meaning in her faith and was an active member of Chùa Chánh Tâm Temple, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to her community with humility and generosity.
