With great sadness, we announce the passing of Linda Anna Jurdyga, age 69, from a 25 year battle with M.S.
Linda is survived by her husband Colin Nugent of 39 years together; sister Judy Jurdyga; niece Tanis and her son Zak. She was predeceased by her parents Olga and Alex Jurdyga; sister Gloria (Henry).
Linda was born and raised in Saskatoon. She went to school at Princess Alexandra and graduated from Bedford Road. She worked at Pacemaker Automotive, OK Economy, Boston Pizza, The Bessborough Hotel, then started her career at Saskatoon Coop for 25 years. She liked showing her dogs. We then moved from the city to the farm and started raising buffalo and whatever other animal she liked. Linda enjoyed a cigarette and strong cup of coffee. Linda loved the farm life and all the animals. She was proud of the yard she built, her Haskap tree and the berries she shared with friends. Linda looked forward to the buffalo round up and supper at the end of the day with friends and neighbours who helped. Linda always left an impression on everyone she met.
She will be sadly missed.
