Lionel Mercereau

Lionel Mercereau was born in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan on April 30th, 1932 and passed away at St. Paul's Hospital on August 17th, 2025.

Lionel is survived by his daughter Gail (Ken) Nicholson, five grandsons, two great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters. He was the eldest of nine children and is also survived by two sisters and one brother as well as a large extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Valerie, his son Shane and daughter-in -law Sherri, his parents, four sisters, one brother, and numerous in-laws.

Lionel had various jobs throughout his working life. His longest careers were with Palm Dairies and self-employment as a handyman. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family and extended family, particularly at the cabins at Emma Lake and Jackfish Lake.

As Lionel requested, there will be no funeral service.
