Lisa Monique Denis/Marchildon, a loving friend, daughter, aunt, mother, and wife.
Lisa started dating her high school sweetheart Ray at 17, then were married in 1992, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love and commitment, and have been inseparable since.
Lisa was a loving, caring, compassionate, intelligent woman, and always saw the light in all situations no matter how dark. Her faith always remained true and strong even through her long battle of suffering against Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Gastroparesis, and Mast Cell Disorder. Faith remained a significant part of Lisa’s life and has shown others what it means to bear the cross with immense grace and love.
Lisa worked for Industry Canada as a regional manager. She even convocated with a Master's degree in Business and Public Administration from Dahlhousie University all while taking care of three young children.
Lisa is predeceased by her father Albert and niece Anaya, and survived by her mother Pauline, two sisters Michelle and Suzanne, as well as extended family. Her loving and devoted Husband Ray stuck by her side through it all. Ray, Stéphan, Logan, and Jasmine will always miss their dearest Lisa, their rock.
Lisa and her family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that have cared and looked after her throughout the years. We would also like to thank Glengarda for their hospitality and dedication to ensuring Lisa’s comfort and care. Lastly we would like to thank Diane Murza, a loving sister in-law to Lisa who performed physiotherapy on Lisa for many years without hesitation.
Lisa’s spark, smile, laughter, determination, and presence will never be forgotten.
