Lois Jean May

October 27, 1934 - October 25, 2025

It is with great love and sadness we announce the passing of Lois Jean May. Lois was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Lois passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Lois will be remembered for her elegance, kindness and the love she showed to family and friends. Lois's big spirit and caring heart touched everyone that knew her. It's been said many times by people that knew her "She's the wisest person I've ever known."

Lois is survived by her daughter, Kendall May (Glenn), grandchildren, Jill Kostyk, Jaeger Yelle and David Kostyk (Alyssa); brother, Don Karpow (Lise) Dawn; sister-in-law, Marilynn Illerbrun (Jack), Kelly (Diane), Dwayne (Stephanie), Carter Yelle, Rhonda Bourhis (Tom), Dale Kostyk, JoAnn, Wayne Kostyk and Elsie Kostyk. All who will cherish her memory.

Lois was predeceased by her husband, David May of 69 years and her parents, William and Edna Karpow.

Friends and family will be gathering at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Thursday, November 6th at 1:00 PM. Funeral Service with a lunch to follow at the Edwards Centre.
