Lorne Howard

Lorne Howard passed away in the Palliative Care unit at St. Paul's Hospital on October 16, 2025 after a short illness. He is survived by Dixie, his wife of 40 years; step-children, Jeff Blushke (Angela Baldelli), Bob Blushke and Wendy Blushke; step-grandchildren, Ryan and Corey Blushke, Samantha and Michael Blushke; sisters-in-law, Marlene and Sharon Howard; nephew, Robert Howard, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lorne was born on February 13, 1939 in Hanley, SK. He attended school in Hanley and in Saskatoon at Haultain Elementary School and Tech Collegiate. He was the owner of Howard's Confectionery on Isabella Street and Lorne's Confectionery on College Drive. He also worked at Dodge City Auto as a Service Writer for many years. He was predeceased by his parents, Barney and Frances Howard and brothers, Melvin and Leslie.

At Lorne's request there will be no service.
