Lynn Sorochuk

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. Born July 23, 1962, in Musselburgh, Scotland, she came to Canada at the age of six with her parents and eight siblings, eventually making Saskatchewan her forever home.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She poured her whole heart into raising her children, Eric, Allan, Carly, and Abby-Rose. Nothing made her prouder than watching them grow and flourish. Her love only deepened as she became "Grandma" to Jack, Addison, Baylor, and Finn, who were her pride and joy. She was blessed to share her life with her soulmate, Neil, whose love and devotion meant the world to her.

She was a woman who filled every room with laughter and stories. She loved going on adventures with her children and found happiness in the little things, such as watching tennis matches, playing music in the car on long drives, and taking in the beauty of new places while sightseeing. She treasured her homes in Saskatoon and Norquay, where so many of her happiest memories were made. Through her work as an educational assistant, she also touched countless young lives with her kindness, patience, and compassion.

She leaves behind her husband, Neil; her children, Eric (Kylie), Carly (Lincoln), and Abby-Rose; and her grandchildren, Jack, Addison, Baylor, and Finn. She will also be deeply missed by her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and countless friends whose lives she touched.

Though her time here feels far too short, she gave her family and friends a lifetime of love. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved son, Allan, whom she carried in her heart every day.

Her memory will live on in the love she gave so freely, the laughter she inspired, and the countless adventures she shared with those she cherished most.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00p.m. on Sunday September 21, 2025, at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Ave North.
