Gail was born and raised in Kinley, Saskatchewan, where she and her family ran the Kinley General Store. From Kinley she moved to Saskatoon and spent most of her working career at Saskpower/Saskenergy. During that time, she married Art in March of 1968. She left her work to raise her children and returned to Saskenergy to finish out her career.

Gail loved sports and was very active in her community. She was a competitor and excelled at fastball, golf and curling. She coached softball and mentored many young players. She was a cheerleader and big supporter of her family and friends in all their activities. Gail loved all kinds of games from board games, cards, and silly birthday games she would create for everyone to enjoy.

Gail was talented at designing, creating and sewing together anything and everything (upholstery, dresses, costumes). She was a great housekeeper, gardener, landscaper, amateur AV tech, baker and cook. She hosted and catered many gatherings. She had a huge appreciation for music and could play the piano and guitar. She was also an exceptional dancer. Art and Gail would frequent the dance floor at many events and celebrations together. On any given night you could find her dancing in the kitchen with her grandchildren.

Amongst all her many talents and hobbies, Gail really enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Gail loved being a grandparent most of all and always wanted to be close to her grandbabies.
