Marie Jane Reynoldson
February 16, 1952 - July 30, 2025

It is with deep sadness that the family of Marie Reynoldson announce her passing on July 30, 2025. Marie was a much-loved sister, aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Brian Reynoldson (Cricket); her nephews and niece: Maral Lowe, Judith Lowe, Howard Lowe (Terry), Karren Frerichs (Darrel); her great nephews and nieces: Mitchell Lowe (Jen), Sarah Lee (Justin), Nathen Lowe, Jeremy Lowe, Roxanne Lang (Jason), Jennifer Lowe (Tyson Jenkins) ; her great-great nephews and nieces: Jacob Lowe, Addison Lowe, Eli Lowe, Makena Lee, Emeryn Lee, Scout Lang, Fox Lang. Marie will also be missed by her numerous friends, especially her BFF, Lorna Johnson.

Marie was pre-deceased by her parents, Connie and John Reynoldson; sisters, Mary and Alice; brother-in-law, Albert Lowe; great-nephew, Jonathon Wouters; great-great niece, Alice Lang.

Marie was born in Regina but spent the first part of her life growing up in Moose Jaw. She moved to Saskatoon at the start of Grade 9 and went to Nutana Collegiate where she met some of her lifelong friends. After graduating from high school, Marie went to Saskatoon Business College. From there she started her career working for the Government of Saskatchewan where she continued to make friendships that were enduring and very important to her. Her first job was as a clerk for Social Services in Saskatoon where she worked for 5 years before moving to the Office of the Rentalsman. After a brief stint at the Rentalsman she went back to Social Services for a couple of more years before transferring into the department of Sask. Justice Public Trustees where she worked first as a trust officer and then later as a supervisor for Estate Services. The transfer to Public Trustees came with a move to Regina where Marie bought her first house. Upon her retirement Marie moved back to Saskatoon to be closer to family.

Marie loved coming to Sunday night family suppers where she got great amusement from watching the chaos of all her great-great nieces and nephews! She specially enjoyed those moments when she could get one of them aside and have a one-on-one conversation or a cuddle with the smaller ones. Marie also enjoyed larger family gatherings where she had an opportunity to connect with extended family.

Marie enjoyed music and played both the piano and acoustic guitar. She loved to travel and was keenly interested in genealogy and family history. Marie loved animals and over the course of her life had 4 dogs named Mickey, Tobi, Bailey and Bandit, a cat named Pfizer, a guinea pig and fish.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all who were involved in Marie's care and well-being: her friends Lorna, Kathy and Margaret who helped family members with dialysis transportation four times a week; the staff at Saskatoon Home Support, staff at Luther Towers, health care providers from Senior's First and CPAS, health care providers at St. Paul's Renal Centre and finally the health care providers at St. Paul's Emergency and 6th floor Medicine. To all of you, "You are her favorites!" A special thanks to the two kind nurses who held her hand while she took her last breath.

In keeping with Marie's wishes a small celebration of life will be held for family and close friends.
