Mary Alice Schmid

Mary passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Paul’s Hospital. Mary was born in Innisfail, Alberta. She was one of eight children born to Bill and Freda Nesom. Mary was best known for her strong faith and love of family. As small as she was, she was a mighty warrior loved by so many. Mary is survived by Roger, her husband of 55 years and their children, Debbie (Bryan), Sue (Gord) and Ruben (Debbie Ann) as well as her grandchildren, Cory (Chelsey), Richard, Meagan, Alyson, Aden, Rorie and her great granddaughter, Lila. Thank you to family and friends who were so supportive during this difficult two weeks. Thanks also go out to the amazing staff at St. Paul’s Hospital for their compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services.
