Meagan Jamie Duclaux
October 28 , 1986 to August 14, 2025
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter Meagan Jamie Duclaux passed away on August 14, 2025 peacefully in her sleep.Meagan will be dearly missed by her daughter Sofie ( Kai ). Her parents Francis and Carol Duclaux . Brother Myles , Sister Sherri (Cory) Nieces and Nephews Savannah , Isabella, Alexander and Lincoln . Meagan was predeceased by her Grandparents George and Elda Duclaux along with Fred and Jo Karras. Meagan was born and raised in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan.
Meagan attended Holy Family school and Graduated from Walter Murray collegiate in 2005. Music was a passion of hers which led to joining the Saskatoon Lion Band during her adolescence with her clarinet. Later learning to play the violin. Meagan had a love for life with her favorite pastime spending time with her daughter Sofie ( Kai ), Nieces and Nephews. One of Her favorite activities was taking Sofie ( Kai ) and Savannah to the exhibition over the past few years. This year Isabella became tall enough and was included in her Auntie Meagan's tradition of going to the Ex.
Meagan had a love of Cooking , Baking and Crocheting and building Yoda Legos and fishing with her brother when time permitted . Her crocheting had led her to donating blankets to a couple organizations. Her baking was also part of a tradition with her daughter Sofie ( Kai ) over the Christmas season as it was one of her favorite times of year besides Halloween.
Meagan was the first one to lend a hand when needed whether it was helping her Mother smoke some meat , Dad with anything he asked of her.
Along with Caring for her Nieces and Nephews when she could. She left a lasting impression with everyone she met .
A funeral service will be held at Holy Family Cathedral On Monday August 25th , 2025, 2pm, Intermittent to follow at a later date.
