Sadly, we say goodbye to our father and to our best friend.  He will be forever remembered by his loving companion Evaline Sanders and all of her wonderful family; his son Kevin (Laurie Ward); daughters, Kim (Jerry) Vandenameele; Jackie (Brian) Beznoska; and Robin Wright; his grandchildren, Latrasa Wright; Nicolaas (Jenn) Vandenameele; Shane (Kristen) Vandenameele; Victoria (Colin) Parenteau; Megan (Lyndon) Schmidt; Riley (Rylee) Beznoska; 8 great grandchildren, Sophia and Dekker Vandenameele; Henrick Vandenameele; Quinn Parenteau; Lennon, Lincoln, and Mila Schmidt; and Kaison  Beznoska.    Mervyn was predeceased by his wife Rosemary; parents Robert and Rose; sister Doreen Ringrose and brothers Winton and OrvilleDad was a man of honesty and integrity, who deeply loved his family, his friends, his land, and his community. Dad was a very quiet, soft spoken gentle man with deep roots in agriculture. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle soul. Dad loved to play cards and for many years enjoyed his lifelong friendship with the Ehr's, the Sapsfords, and the Wards.   A Memorial Service will be held from the Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Ave N, Saskatoon)  on Wednesday May 1st 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  Donations in Mervyn's memory may be made to the Delisle Senior Centre, Delisle SK S0L0P0
