Neil Nutter

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Neil David Nutter. He is survived by Lori, his wife of 38 years; daughter Ashley (Travis); son Justin (Madison); his mother Violet; siblings Bob, Dolores (Ted), Dan and Judy; an extensive Nutter family; mother-in-law Armelle and the Zakerson family. He was predeceased by his father Andy.

Neil grew up in Saskatoon with his family and many friends. He attended school at Bedford Road Collegiate where he excelled at academics and sports. In his 20s, Neil was a drummer for the band Easy Ts and continued playing until his passing. For 35 years, he worked as a manager for Shippers Supplies Inc which was acquired by Spicers. Neil was a devoted family man. He could always be found with his wife cheering on his kids at all of their sporting events.

Neil’s humour, generosity, kindness and love will be remembered by many. The memories made with him will be cherished forever.

A Celebration of Neil’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Mayfair United Church (902 33rd St. W.) in Saskatoon.
