Pamela Florence Strouts (née Conway)
April 3, 1952 - August 10, 2025

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Florence Strouts, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Pam was born on April 3, 1952, in Swanson, Saskatchewan, to George and Pearl Conway. Raised in that close-knit community, she later moved to Saskatoon to attend Mount Royal Collegiate Institute-where she met the love of her life, Rick.

A caring and driven woman, Pam pursued her RN training after high school. Soon after marrying Rick, she devoted herself to raising their two children, Jason and Sharman, ensuring they had a joyful and nurturing childhood. Her warmth and commitment extended beyond the home: she was a devoted volunteer at school and community events, beloved by many.

When her children were older, Pam returned to the workforce, bringing her dependable spirit to The Body Shop, Eddie Bauer, and Standard Machine. She and Rick shared many adventures, with their favorite getaway being Puerto Vallarta, Mexico-memories they cherished deeply. Above all, Pam delighted in spending time with her three grandsons-Keeler, Hayden, and Connor-whom she adored and loved to spoil.

In her final years, Pam demonstrated the same grace and courage that defined her life. After a breast cancer diagnosis, she endured surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation over five years with the heart of a warrior. Her suffering ended peacefully on August 10, 2025.

Pam was preceded in death by her loving parents, George and Pearl Conway. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 52 years, Rick; her son Jason (Cheryl) and grandson Keeler; her daughter Sharman (Quinton) and grandsons Hayden and Connor; her brothers Bryan (Shirley) and Dennis (Jane); along with many cherished sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and health-care team who provided compassionate care throughout Pam's journey-and especially to the nurses and CCAs at Glengarda Hospice, whose dedication brought comfort and dignity to her final days.

If you wish, donations in Pam's memory to breast cancer research or to the Hospice at Glengarda are welcomed in lieu of flowers.
