Patricia Montay

Patricia Louise (Pat) Montay nee Read was born July 5, 1942 in Fort Macleod, Alberta to Ronald Vincent Read and Claire Arno. Patricia passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the age of 83 years old.

Patricia is survived by her children Rob (Shalayne) Montay and grandchildren Megan and Emily; Marilyn (Eric) Kevis and grandchildren Connor and Morgan. Daughter-in-law Roxanne Berger and granddaughter Ryann Langley. She is also survived by her siblings Brent, Ian, Ken, Doug, and Carol and many others.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband Edward Montay, son Allan Montay, sister Linda Matthews, stepmother Mardie Read and grandson Daxton Kevis. Patricia touched the lives of so many people and she will be truly missed. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer society or the Terry Fox foundation.

The Funeral Service for Pat will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at St. John's Anglican Cathedral.
