Peggy June Muriel Crockett

Crockett (nee: Delance), Peggy June Muriel
July 16, 1922 – July 9, 2018

Peggy, age 95, passed away July 9, 2018 at St Paul’s Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Layton. Surviving Peggy are her children, Trudy Harcus, Darrell Crockett, Cindy Talock, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Peggy was born July 16, 1922 on the family homestead east of Nipawin at Ravine Bank, SK. Later she met and married the love of her life, Layton Crockett on February 16, 1943. Peggy was active in the UCW and was, for many years, the Administrator at Grosvenor Park United Church. She enjoyed golf and was an avid and accomplished Bridge player. As well, she enjoyed gardening and maintaining flowers and crab apple trees in her yard. Scotland, South Africa, China, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Europe along with many visits to relatives in the United States were many of the places Peggy travelled. She loved all of her friends like they were family and had a special,  competitive relationship with her friends at the Bridge Club. A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Saskatoon Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 pm.
