Philip Johnson

August 5, 1954 — July 2, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Blair Johnson, who left this world on July 2nd, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. Philip was born August 5, 1954 to Ralph and Mary Johnson.

Phil was a beloved husband to Debbie, his wife and best friend, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

He was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters, Kristi Knight (Ryan) and Kayla Kaminski (Shane). Phil's love for his girls was evident in every conversation, every story, and every moment he spent with them. He was their rock, their encourager, and their greatest supporter.

Nothing brought Phil more joy than being "Papa" to his four grandchildren: Alexis, Shyla, Jaelyn, and Ryker. His eyes lit up when he spoke of them, and his time spent with each of them was filled with kindness, laughter, and stories they will carry with them forever.

He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, among whom he was proudly known as the favorite uncle.

Phil was predeceased by his parents and two siblings, whose memories he carried with him always.

Phil dedicated 33 years of his life to serving with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a career that reflected his strong sense of duty, integrity, and commitment to his many communities where he met many great people that turned into lifelong friends. Throughout his time with the RCMP, he earned the respect of colleagues and the trust of those he served. Phil carried himself with a strong work ethic, and unwavering fairness. He left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Though he is no longer with us in person, the love and values Phil shared will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

We hope he's out there playing the best round of golf he's ever had- clear skies, perfect greens, and every shot straight down the fairway.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Phil's memory may do so with a donation to the Foam Lake Golf & Country Club. Alternatively, the family asks that you honor Phil's memory by spending time with your loved ones and cherishing each moment.
