It is with heavy hearts that the family of Raymond John Senger announce his passing on Monday September 8, 2025, at the Saskatoon City Hospital.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eleanor (nee Hanishewski), his daughter Brenda and her children, Amy, Lindsay (Adam) great-grandchildren Laurel and Rachel, son Brad (Brenda) and their children Brodie, Jerrod (Amanda).

Raymond is pre-deceased by his parents Kasper and Margaret (nee Hauck) and all of his siblings.

Raymond was born in the Elstow - Allan Area. He spent his school years at Prairie Home School. He worked various jobs until he began his career as a welder at Kramer Tractor in 1972. He retired from Kramer's at the age of 64.

Ray loved attending dances with Eleanor as a young man. They were avid card players. Raymond was a fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Blue Jays. He also enjoyed reading a good book and had the ability to stretch a short story into an adventure lasting an entire car ride. Raymond was actively involved in his church. He had a passion for cars and drove until the age of 90.

Raymond enjoyed a good cup of coffee with both family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

There will be a Memorial Mass on Monday September 15, 2025, 11:00 am at St Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (1902 Munroe Avenue South, Saskatoon) with Father Ed Gibney officiating and music by Matthew Courchene. A lunch will follow the service in the St. Philip reception area. The interment of ashes will occur at St. John's Columbarium at a later date.
