Celebrating Arni Schmeichel - With sadness and yet profound joy for a life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Arnold (Arni) Schmeichel of Saskatoon who graduated to Heaven on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Arni is survived by his devoted wife Judi; their children Rob, Sherridan, Richard and Eleisa and their families; his brother Francis; and his extended family.

Thank you to our family and friends who supported us with prayer, visits, messages and encouragement over the past weeks of hospital time.

A Celebration of Life for Arni will be held on Saturday, November 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Lawson Heights Alliance Church (159 Pinehouse Drive) in Saskatoon with luncheon to follow.

Arrangements are entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home. A full obituary will follow in the coming days.
