Bishop Robert Bruce Emerson

September 17, 1946 – October 22, 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a beloved husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Bishop Robert Bruce Emerson pass peacefully into the arms of his savior at Royal University hospital in Saskatoon on October 22, 2021 at the age of 75.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Robert.

He will be remembered by: his wife of 50 years, Royal; his daughters, Darlene and Fabiola (Laurent); his grandchildren, Jamal, Darnel, Ajani, Malachi, Datiel and Kasiah; his brothers and sisters, Gordon (Judy), John (Myrna), Joanne (Bill) and Colleen (Scott); and his nieces and nephews Aaron, Joshua, Jeremy, Micah, Megan Ester, Rachel, Mathew and Hannah.

Robert loved to work on sermons even after retirement.  He still felt the call to serve and help the lost.  He spent many hours in the hospital planting seeds with his roommates, nurses and doctors.  He also loved to work with wood and refurbishing old wooden model boats.  He loved to go camping with his grandsons and teaching them to golf.

The Funeral Service for Bob Emerson was held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Elim Church in Saskatoon, SK.
