Roderick Powder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the man I call Dad, Roderick M Powder, of Saskatoon, SK., who passed away today, December 12, 2025, at the age of 80. He will be deeply missed by his family and all his friends.

Roderick was born to Eli and Madeline Powder. He lived in Uranium City, SK, until 1997, when he and his family moved to Saskatoon. For over 20 years, he was a dedicated employee of Cameco, working as a Millwright. He had a brilliant mind for mechanics and was quite the handyman, always able to fix almost anything. If he couldn't fix it, he would famously say he would "make it even better." His ingenuity and sense of humor brought joy to everyone who knew him.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at St. Patrick's Parish. 3339 Centennial Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5B8
