Ronald Bahr

November 11, 1940 — December 10, 2024

A generous, supportive and understanding father, proud Grandpa, dependable brother and loving husband; Ron Bahr passed quietly on December 10th after a lengthy journey with chronic kidney disease. We grieve him peacefully knowing that he has joined his son Jeff in a better place.

Ron wore many hats; hockey player, farmer, business owner, salesman, manager, coach, traveler and best of all a family man. No matter the job he was always praised for his hard work, expertise and reliability.

In his younger years, Ron loved a challenge and sought out adventure. In more recent years Ron was most content when surrounded by family, sitting on the deck reading a book, enjoying the outdoors, watching sports, walking the dog, or relaxing quietly on the beach at Waskesiu.

Ron, a true gentleman, will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Joanne (Day), daughter Amy Tutkaluke (Warren), grandchildren Jakob and Madi Bahr, Joseph and Jackson Tutkaluke, Jeff's partner Shannon Davies and her children, Mackenzie and Kieran, brother Bill (Linda) Bahr. Brothers-in-law John (Sandee) Day, Rick (Doreen) Day and their children.

As per Ron's wishes, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Ronald McDonald House Saskatoon or The Hospice at Glengarda.
