Roy Jackson

Roy Donald Jackson passed away on October 7th 2025. Roy was living in the Convalecsent home and that is where he passed away. Roy was born on October 28, 1939, at the Toronto hospital. Both of his parents are deceased. He had a older brother named William who died around 16 months. A younger brother named Bruce, who died around 55 years of age from cancer. He has left behind his loving wife Lydia (Frolick) Jackson. Roy had four children: Sherry, Rob, Destiny, and Nile. He also had four stepchildren: Candice Lazariuk, Todd Lazariuk, Deseree Mandel and Natasha Sluth. Roy had a great love for his grandchildren. He had many happy memories of them. His first grandchild was True Lazariuk (Todd), then Tyson, Hudson, Colin, Makayla (Deseree). He also left behind many of his spiritual Brothers and Sisters in the Lakeview congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had many friends especially from the city of Penticton BC and Loydminster AB/SK. Roy enjoyed many things in his life. He loved diving and enjoyed woodwork. As a young man, he got a black belt in marshall arts and learned plumbing/ pipefitting as a trade. There will be no memorial or zoom service. We would like to thank the staff of the Convalescent Home for their care, dedication and compassion shown to Roy over the years.
