Ruth Banks

Penny (Ruth) Banks July 27, 1926 - June 19, 2017 Penny passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 90 with her friend Eileen Huckle at her side. She is survived by many nieces and nephews from the Banks and Towell families. Penny was predeceased by her parents, Muriel and Harvey Banks, her brother Gerald Banks and her sister Ann Towell. Penny was a teacher for more than 40 years in Saskatoon. She was a lifetime associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 63. Penny was very active in her community over the years. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Heart and Stroke, Cancer Centre or Knox United Church.
