Sally was born at Watson, Saskatchewan on June 4 , 1942.
She spent her formative years in Saskatoon, Sask. She graduated from University of Saskatchewan as a Teacher and taught in Calgary for a short time. She then changed paths and became a very successful businesswoman as Buyer for The Hudson’s Bay in Montreal. Sally later moved to B.C. and lived in Vancouver and the Victoria area. She created her own successful consulting business and eventually shared ownership and managed a gift and garden shop. These many roles reflected her confidence, intelligence and strong work ethic.
Sally returned home after retirement to be closer to her brother, to whom she gave unwavering support and companionship.
Sally willingly gave of her time as a volunteer . She especially enjoyed volunteering at Sherbrooke Community Center as it held a special place in her heart.
Sally will be remembered for her independence, strength, compassion and quiet generosity.
Sally was predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Bert Smart and her brother Bill Smart.
