Sharon Swerid

The family of Sharon Swerid are saddened to announce her sudden passed on July 4th 2025 at the age of 61. She is survived by her parents, Olga and Nick, brother Darren (Lori), niece Kayla and Maddex, nephew Jordan; Jodi & Jenna, aunties Hazel, & Tina, uncles Joe, Peter, Walter (Shirley), and George (Margret) and a whole lot of cousins.

Sharon was born and raised in Saskatoon. she was a Girl Guide and Brownie. Sharon did very well in school from grade 1 through high school. In 1990 she started at the Travelodge Hotel where she worked for 35 years. She attended St. Ann's Church for Sunday Mass.

She enjoyed traveling and camping as a family with her mom, dad, and brother Darren for most of her life including fishing with Darren and her dad. Sharon went camping in the Grand Canyon, Banff, Jasper, Chitek Lake and many other lakes in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Ontario. She also traveled to Italy and spent a month there. Sharon also enjoyed hobbies such as bead work, painting, knitting, cooking (mostly tasting) and getting together with her Niece to go shopping or out for lunch and visiting with her nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday July 24,2025, 2:00 pm at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church (127 Lenore Drive, Saskatoon), with Father Gregory Roth presiding.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
