Shawn Vermette

We honour the passing of Shawn Emile James Vermette (Caron). He left us suddenly on July 9, 2025, at his home. He is survived by his son lil Shawn, his stepchildren Dustin, Bailey and the love of his life Chlarissa. His grandmother Barbara, his parents Jodie, Josh, his siblings Casheous, Nicole, Joel, Janessa, Cole, Sammi, Madison, Tyrah, and Tristen, his step siblings Cassidy, Kenzie, Damien, and Xyvier, his nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and his friends. He joined his father Richard (Sam) his grandpa Emile, grandpa Gilbert, Uncle Chad (Bobo) and his grandmother (aunt) Sheila.

Shawn left us way too soon, although we mourn his passing, we will find the comfort of his enduring light of love he leaves behind. May his memory be a blessing and each of us strive to carry forward his legacy of kindness, generosity, courage and love he so beautifully embodied.

May we remember not only what has been lost, but all that has been gained through a life so well lived. In grief, let us find gratitude; in sorrow, let us remember joy; and in memory, let us find peace. May their journey onward be gentle, and their rest be serene. Forever cherished, forever remembered.

A Family Viewing will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Avenue North. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.  at Saskatoon Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery 1502 2nd Avenue North. A lunch afterwards for family and friends will be at St George Senior Center, 1235 20th Street West, across from CUMFI.
