Shirley Jean Atkinson

Shirley Jean Atkinson was born in Saskatoon on December 15, 1927 and passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024. She was predeceased by her father Cecil Atkinson, her mother Nellie Atkinson, her brother Harry Atkinson and her life partner Ulie Hongler. Shirley moved from Saskatoon to New York City with the Bank of Montreal in 1965. She moved back to Saskatoon to care for her brother in 2013 where she remained until her passing.

Shirley was a very thoughtful and kind person known for her witty sense of humor, love of Martinis, and her fondness of animals, especially cats. Rest in peace Shirley, you will be dearly missed.

A private internment will be held at a later time.
