Sophie Doerksen

Sophie passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2015 in her 101st year. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry (1983) and her parents Polly (1955) nee Toporowski and William (1964); sisters, Evelyn, Molly, Nettie, Helen, and Elsie; and a brother in infancy. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Bob) Dodds of Saskatoon, SK; brother, Victor (Rose) Kowalchuk of Willingdon, AB; sister-in-law, Sarah Schmidt of Calgary, AB; brother-in-law, Nick Nikiforuk of Daysland, AB; Bob’s children, Bob, Bill, Leslie Anne and Marla and their families, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Circle Drive Special Care Home for their loving care of Sophie. A special thanks for the care given by Marlene, Holly and Betty. Sophie will be remembered for her gracious and generous spirit and is greatly missed.
