Susan Elaine Shimla

SHIMLA, SUSAN
1960 – 2018

Susan Elaine Shimla passed away on March 24th, 2018 in Beaver Creek, Saskatchewan at 58 years old. She is survived by her sons Alex, Eric and Ian, their father, Doug; her parents, Leo and Kathy, and her siblings, Kevin, Elton, and Dianne, as well as their families. Susan was born and raised in Turtleford on March 19th, 1960. She went to Holy Cross High School, received a Medical Laboratory Technologist Certificate from the Kelsey Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences, and a degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Saskatchewan. She spent her life working at Canadian Blood Services starting as a Medical Lab Tech and retiring as the Associate Director of Strategy Deployment and Development. Susan loved cooking. She was happiest spending time with her family and entertaining guests for special occasions. In lieu of flowers/money, please donate to a mental health charity of your choice. The service will be held on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Saskatoon Funeral Home.
