It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a fabulous wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Tamara Dawn Wolfater (nee Harding) was born in Saskatoon on July 3, 1980. She attended Bishop Pocock School and Holy Cross High School.
Tamara studied at Saskatchewan Polytech Moose Jaw Campus and graduated from Business Administration. She had several administrative jobs until she took a job at AECOM where she met the love of her life Brent. She soon said to her mother, "See that guy over there, that's the man I'm going to marry". It didn't take long before they were married, and Tamara was thrilled that a beautiful daughter Caera became part of her family. After leaving AECOM she worked for the City of Saskatoon until she had her son Cayson and chose to be a stay-at-home Mom.
She was very involved in her children's lives and loved being on the Home and School and organizing lunch programs for each of their schools.
Tamara had one of those personalities that just drew you in. She had a warm smile and an infectious laugh. To know her is to love her and she easily drew new lifelong friends into her fold. Tamara was such a strong, happy and positive woman and whatever she dealt with in life she took on with great strength, determination and grit.
Family was very important to Tamara, and she enjoyed family gatherings, especially boxing day at their house, camping, celebrating St. Patrick's Day, dressing up and going trick or treating with the kids.
She has battled cancer, with unwavering positivity, since being diagnosed in 2016. She always showed her courage and determination to fight this battle, but it took her away too soon on November 24, 2024. She will be forever loved and cherished by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Brent Wolfater, children Caera and Cayson; parents Harold and Starr Harding; and sister Kara Harding. In-laws Brian and Kaye Wolfater and brother-in-law Lee Wolfater, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Please honour Tamara in any way that is personal to you and your relationship with her.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 10:30am at St. Philip Neri Parish in Saskatoon. Tamara will be buried at a private family ceremony at a later date.
May she rest in God's hands.
