Thelma Adaline Rempel

The family sadly announces the passing of Thelma Adaline Rempel (nee Hamilton) on July 8th, 2023 in Saskatoon, SK. Thelma was born December 24th, 1927 on the family farm near Raddison, SK. She married Henry Rempel (deceased) in 1951 and together they had three children, Darwin (Darry), Leanne, and Brent (Jolayne). Thelma retired from St. Paul’s Hospital Health Records in 1988. She was predeceased by two brothers, Lloyd (Sonja) and Frank (LaDene) Hamilton; and two sisters, Hilda (Coral) Laycock and Helen (Gordon) MacDonald. Thelma is survived by her three children; six granddaughters, Kristy (Chris) Rempel, Shantell Honoroski (Mark Hale), Amy Alain (deceased) (Phil), Danielle Rempel (Brodie Toffin), Joelle Rempel (Pete Byskov), and Lindsay Burlock (David); eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Amy's House.

A Celebration of Thelma’s Life will be held at W.A. Edwards Family Centre (333 4th Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK.) on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Parking is available across the street at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
