It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Thomas Joseph Edmond Roy, of Saskatoon, on September 6, at the age of 24 years.
Thomas, known as Tom, Tommy, or TJ was born September 20, 2000. Tom was an incredibly smart and funny individual. He cared deeply for his friends and family; and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Despite his own internal struggles, he persevered and ensured the people around him were laughing and having a good time. Wherever Tom went, he would bring his positive attitude and a smile that would light up the room. Tom was a philosophical deep thinker that enjoyed meaningful conversation. He spent his time as a teen supporting youth empowerment by touring Canada advocating for the next generation. At Chokecherry Studios, Tom made lifelong friendships, created music and worked on his rap skills. Tom was a truly unique person that was loved by all, a person that brought joy and happiness anywhere he went.
He will be lovingly remembered and profoundly missed by his mother Jennel, sisters: Ashley (Kyle), Paige, Christy and Jorie; brother, Brian; nephew Cassius and niece Clover, as well as numerous friends and relatives.
He will also be dearly missed by his friends Tuk, Dave, Andrea and Lee.
He was predeceased by his cousins Brandon Roy and Tristan Roy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Ave N, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2L7.
Memorial Donations may be made in Thomas Roy’s name to EGADZ, 485 1st Ave N, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1X5.
