Thomas "Tom" Evans

Beloved husband of Agnes for 64 years, cherished father of Barb (Mark), Linda (Decker), John (Darci) and Jennifer (Darryl), much loved grandfather of Hayley, Iris, Jade and Tariku and loyal friend to many. Predeceased by parents John and Edith and siblings Jack, George, Annie and Alice.
Tom was born, raised and lived his entire life in Saskatoon, working for CP until his retirement. Family was his top priority and an immense source of pride for him. Tech savvy, he kept in constant communication with his children and grandchildren. He cherished family gatherings, vacations at Waskesiu and trips to Las Vagas. Gifted with a quick wit, a number of family and friends were frequent recipients of his practical jokes. He was an ardent fan of the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, and harbored a soft spot for animals large and small. The head of the Evans family, he will be missed.
The family would graciously like to thank Drs. M. Boechler and R. Skomro for their years of exceptional care and Dr. M. Fenske, Keri-Lynn and Katelyn for their compassion and devoted care of dad in his last few days. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Private family Mass of Christian burial will occur on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at St. Peter the Apostle Church (1121 Northumberland Avenue).
