Trevor was born February 9, 1971 in Saskatoon. His parents were Margaret and Bill Greenbank of Swift Current. His sister Marcy arrived in 1973.
Trevor attended elementary school in Swift Current, Pilot Butte and Wawota, Sask.
His high school years were in Swift Current. He enjoyed school, loved books and especially band. He played trombone for several years and then graduated to alto and tenor saxophone. Besides concert band and numerous ensembles, he joined the jazz band, junior and then senior. The jazz band competed in Ottawa and won the right to compete at Expo.
Trevor was a talented musician, starting his training on the Hammond Organ at age seven. The next year he added piano to his weekly lessons. He received his certificate for Grade VIII Conservatory and Grade II Theory. The next instrument he played after high school was the electric guitar. He did some teaching of music in Saskatoon, through which he met Trevor Case and they developed a lasting friendship. At about age 15 Trevor took up four track recording in his spare time. He also fell in love with MacIntosh computers.
Trevor attended summer camps. In early years it was bible camp for a week and in later years he attended Summer School of the Arts at Ft. Qu'Appelle; sometimes on an award and others mom and dad awarded.
Trevor attended a college in Saskatoon to acquire a certificate in Desk Top Publishing. He took a short course in stage sound management.
Trevor had various jobs doing his designing and later worked on his own.
Trevor's Auntie Marie Vail was a special person in Trevor's life as she was his start to learning piano which they both loved. Other special people came into Trevor's life; Judy, Don, Jeff and the late Mike Semchuk; lasting friendships evolved.
Trevor had various health problems. Diagnosed with MS in 2006, type II diabetes in 2007, to be followed a few years later with hypertension. He rarely complained and was willing to help all of us less computer savvy people with our technical problems.
Trevor was very patient. He was kind and gentle. He had a great sense of humor that shone often along with his smile.
Trevor really enjoyed his bicycle and wore out several. He was a great baseball player but did not pursue as his love of music won out. He loved food, learning about it and cooking it and especially sharing a good meal with others.
Trevor was predeceased by his father, William (Bill) Greenbank, his grandparents, Aunt Isabelle Olson; uncles: Earle Johnson, Karl Johnson, Ernie Vail, Wayne Olson and cousin David Vail. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Greenbank, sister, Marcy Greenbank, niece Emily Cann and nephew Benjamin Cann of Regina, as well as several aunts, an uncle and numerous cousins.

The Celebration of his life will be at 1:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2024 at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
