Vicky Lynn Howey

Vicky Lynn Howey passed away peacefully at the Hospice at Glengarda in Saskatoon on Friday, June 20th after a brief battle with Cancer. Vicky was born on May 23rd,1948 in Rosetown Saskatchewan.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd and her brothers, Les Howey (Joan) Lloyd Howey (Maureen), her children Jack (Stacey), Lauri, Lisa (Todd), Maria, Mike (Rhonda). Grandchildren Quinn, Kade, Gracie, Kayla, Katie, Luca,Dante,Jake and Great Grandchild,Jordan. She is predeceased by her Father, John, Mother, Patricia and Stepfather Ralph.

Mom's favorite thing in life was spending time with her grandchildren, attending all of their sporting events and activities. She took many trips over the years to attend these events. She also enjoyed watching the Blue Jays and enjoyed travelling yearly to watch them play in person. The one thing that Mom looked forward to every year was her trip to Newfoundland to see her brother Les. They had an amazing relationship. She would always come back with some great stories and with a feeling of love and happiness that she was able to go.

She will be sorely missed. 

A huge thank you to the staff at Glengarda Hospice for making mom's last day so comfortable and for treating her with the utmost dignity. Having Mom there was definitely our silver lining. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Hospice at Glengarda. 

As per Mom's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
