The family of Victoria Christine Stefanuk are sad to announce her passing in the late morning of June 18, 2025.
Vicki was born August 5, 1936 in Wynyard, SK. She was the youngest of thirteen children raised by Stanley and Rose Chambers. She married Bill Stefanuk and together they raised four children, Bill, Shannon, Robert and Joanne. Bill sadly passed away in 1983.
Mom's life was one of family and friends, in that order. She always put family first and that included her parents, brothers and sisters. She spent countless hours sewing our clothes, figure skating outfits and even barbie doll clothes and she still found the time to make the best birthday cakes, bread and pies. And then there were the awesome Sunday suppers!! They were a family tradition even after dad passed away. Mom was kind, generous and so good hearted and taught us that the simple things were the most important things in life. Mom had a terrific sense of humor, a green thumb in the garden, out of this world baking and the ability to burn every piece of meat from the supermarket.
Even with all she did for family she still found the time to work as a ward clerk on 3AB at RUH for several years. She loved her job and cherished the friendships and memories of her coworkers.
Mom loved all of her family dearly and will be missed and thought of often by all of us.
She is fondly remembered by her children; Bill (Debbie) and family Sean, Nicole, Josh and two great grandchildren; Shannon and her three sons Michael (Melissa), and one great grandchild; Owen, Ryan(Rebecca); Robert Stefanuk; Joanne and family, Jodi, Eric and Stacey.
Wherever her beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories.
