It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, and great aunt, Vondella "Bonnie" Nidoski.
Bonnie was born and raised in Saskatoon, where she built a life of kindness, generosity and compassion. She was predeceased by her father, Stanley, her mother, Regina, her sister Violet and her brother Jerry.
For many years, Bonnie worked at the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine, in the Accounting department, before retiring in 1991. She was a dedicated and valued colleague.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She had an incredible gift for making those around her feel special, always remembering birthdays and milestones with a heartfelt card or thoughtful gift. She was like a second mother to Lori and Ernie after their mother, Violet, passed away too soon, at age 53.
Bonnie was always impeccably dressed, with a warm smile that could light up any room. She never missed a family event, birthday or holiday, always showing up with open arms, warm hugs and sweet kisses that will never be forgotten. She loved taking drives around the city and sharing lunches with her niece Lori. A devoted Blue Jays fan, she rarely missed a game, cheering on her team with quiet enthusiasm.
Thought she was a private and humble person, Bonnie's love for her family spoke volumes. Her kindness, grace and unwavering presence in our lives will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her brother in law Bob Finley, sister in law Sheila Nidoski, nieces and nephews, Lori (Scott) Nicholson, Ernie Finley, Trevor(Cathy) Nidoski, Shawna (Ron) Dehaan and Nori (Trudy) Nidoski. Grand nieces and nephews, Cassie and Georgia Finley, Lindsay and Taylor Nidoski, Sheanne and Shae Dehaan.
Bonnie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
