Walter Alexander Chutskoff

1967 — April 8, 2018

Chutskoff, Walter
March 11, 1967-April 8, 2018.

It is with deep sadness that the family announce that Walter (Wally) Chutskoff was welcomed by his dad in heaven on April 8, 2018. He passed away after a lengthy but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 51.
He will be greatly missed by his two sons, Dylan and Riley, his mom Doreen, his brother Carey and his sister Jody (Dallas) and his special niece Sophie.
He is also survived by 2 very special aunts, Shirley Lindgren and Dallas Green who loved him like their son. Also mourning his loss are cousins Wade, Wendy, Gillian, Brendan, Betty, Terry, Patrick, Rick, Barry and all their extended families.
Wally was predeceased by his dad Walter, along with his grandparents, aunts and uncles and other family members and friends.
Wally grew up in Massey Place and attended Vincent Massey and Mount Royal Collegiate. This is where he met many life long friends that helped him through his journey. Wally played hockey in his younger years, loved listening to Nickelback and especially loved meeting for wings with all his friends. He was employed at various jobs over the years, with last one being at Shippers Supply. Wally had a big heart and was loved by many. He always had a positive attitude in all he was going through and was a fighter till the bitter end.
The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital for their care and kindness and keeping him comfortable in his final days.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at  Saskatoon Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Wally’s name can be made to the St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
