Walter Dreger

Walter Dreger November 3, 1917 – May 28, 2016 Walter Dreger, age 98, passed away at Luther Special Care Home on May 28, 2016. Born in Esk, Sk. he grew up at Watrous, Sk. and followed his family’s tradition, working for CN Rail for seventeen years. After moving to Saskatoon in 1957, Walter worked as a finishing carpenter until his retirement. Predeceased by his son Delmer, one sister and two brothers, he is survived by his wife of 75 years, Erna; daughter Bernice (Lloyd) Hilderman, grandchildren; Trevor Hilderman, Melissa(Jason) Boisvert, and Scott ( Krista ) Dreger as well as four great grandchildren; Bailey, Jordyn, Connor and Lacey.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saskatoon SPCA, 5028 Clarence Ave, Grasswood, Sk. S7T 1A7, or to a charity of choice.
