Walter Thiessen

WALTER THIESSEN 1928 - 2017 Walter James Thiessen of Saskatoon passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the age of 88. Walter was born in Herbert, Saskatchewan on September 2, 1928. He was preceded by his wife of 58 years, Wilma, parents Peter J. and Elizabeth Thiessen of Herbert. He is survived by his son Wayne (Bertha), Grandchildren Matthew (Alissa) and Corrine Thiessen, daughter Wyn (Dan), Grandchildren Jessica and Zach Daniels, brothers, Alfred (Alvina) and Clancy (Elsie) and numerous family and friends. Walter was a warm, gentle man who loved to spend time with friends and family. His welcoming character will be missed by all who knew him.
