William Ihor Berezowsky

William Ihor Berezowsky, 90, passed away Monday, January 1st at Samaritan Place in Saskatoon, SK. He was born on July 16, 1927 in Prince Albert to John William and Olga (Panas) Berezowsky. We cherished his love of family, generous spirit, and the twinkle in his eye. Bill loved being on this earth. His passion for nature and endless stories of adventure entertained family, friends, and strangers. Though no one remained a stranger for long. He was a teacher, sailor, farmer, conservation officer, perogi master, beloved husband and father, and doting grandfather. He will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Marjory Elizabeth (Gillies); his children Peggy Lee (Robert Simpson), Jay (Karen Yasieniuk), Heather (Reginald Hickmott), Lisa (Matthew Kelly), Shannon, and Gregory (Carolyn Berezowsky); his grandchildren Meaghan, Jason, Courtney, Matthew, Amy, Bethany, Jarrod, Justin, Ciaran, Madeliene, Ellis, William; his great grandchildren Eden, Jack, Owen, Aiden, Rylan, Colin, Andrew; and his brother James Berezowsky. He was predeceased by his eldest son, William Gordon; his granddaughter Brittany; and his brothers Boris and Emil.
