William Shukin

It is with heavy hearts we said goodbye to our dearest husband, father, and grandfather on Monday August 26th 2024. William "Bill" was born on January 31st 1936 in Saskatoon. He grew up in the Cee Pee area where he attended Langham school. He met his wife Rita and were married and spent 67 years together. Bill enjoyed fishing, curling, farming, and all around farm life. You could always find him with a bag of spitz, chips or chocolate. Bill worked for Belmac & Kilborn Engineering where he was a purchaser and project manager. When he retired he went back to his passion which was farming.

William is survived by his loving wife Rita, children Connie Shukin-Kinakin (Derele) & Brenda Shukin (Ernie). His grandchildren Brandon Shukin (Olivia) & Logan Denet. He is predeceased by his parents Mary & Bill and his only sister Mabel Rebalkin.

A causal viewing service will be held on August 30th between 6-7pm at The Saskatoon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to the Heart & Stroke foundation on his behalf.
