Yvonne Melynchuk

In loving memory of Yvonne Smith Melnychuk who passed peacefully away on January 22, 2026 after a long illness. Yvonne was a dear sister to JoAnna, Vena, Tom (Eunice) and sister-in-law Linley. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. She was blessed to have good friends, especially her closest friends Marion and Reg Burch whose constant love and care have been so much appreciated over the past months. Yvonne will be remembered for her love of family, dogs, especially Brandy and Winston, her interest in gardening and plants and in keeping with her Newfoundland roots, her passion for peppermint candy knobs and the Downhomer magazine! As per her request there will be no funeral. A gathering of friends and family for a Celebration of her Life will take place at a later date.
